There are several other topics (besides hockey or curling) that you do not want to mention in a pub in Victoria:

raw sewage into the Strait

George “W” Bush (at least a few years ago)

claiming that WA oysters are better than BC oysters

Saying that Simon Fraser Pipe Band should not have won the “Worlds”

The Queen (actually, depending on the crowd, you could be in deep trouble or their best buddy

The list actually goes on and on, but we don’t have time. The best advice is to just stick to “friendly” topics. Of course, since they are Canadians, the worst you can expect is that they will just leave and you’ll be all alone.

Mary, We need to delete Judi Edwards name from Secretary. Also, is there a way to get a “Contact Us” feature on the home page, to make it simple to reach the Com or Vice Com? Calendar will need the event times added. Photos are great. I’m going to look for another one of the Clubhouse set up for a Change of Watch where Zoe Ann did it in blue cloths with white plates . . . it was really stunning. I don’t know how to post a photo yet. Ilona

Mary. Looks great. We need to make sure the events are listed chronologically. Can a title be added at the beginning of a feature, i.e. Sea Story or Sail Race; Commodore’s Column, etc. In the header listing, I think it should be “Clubhouse Rental” to incite interest to those exploring our website. Can all of our advertisers be listed to encourage continued support of PTYC, i.e., Community Support or Sponsors or something like that? I’m going to explore some more of the site. Ilona
