This year our annual "Open Boat" event will be held at Port Hadlock Marina, home port to 20 of our PTYC member boats. From 1-4 PM, members who wish to participate will welcome fellow PTYC members aboard to share their vessel‘s history, along with some hosted wine and other goodies.

It‘s a wonderful way to get to know our members and put faces with boats/names, as well as to see the infinite ways we all live while on the water. This event is open to the public, so encourage your nonmember friends to come along.

Due to marina availability, only boats already moored in Port Hadlock can be included.

NEWS! HAT ISLAND AND EVERETT RESERVATIONS ARE FILLED. WAITLIST ONLY AS OF 1/23.

We are excited to try something new and fun! Come enjoy the experience of a private island just west of Everett.Their private marina offers restrooms and showers ashore, a covered picnic area and a private 9 hole golf course. On May 13th, we will gather for heavy appetizers in the early evening. The next day we will host our "strictly fun" 1 club team golf scramble. Everybody plays with just one club, your pick. Don‘t golf? No worries! Everybody gets to help with moving the ball forward. Cost is $25 per person (dogs allowed on course). Prize awarded for the most creative golf hat on Hat Island. We will also enjoy a group potuck ashore under the covered pavilion. The Yacht Club building is under renovation so we will await Everett for a group BBQ.
On May 15th we will cruise a short distance to Everett, Guest Dock 5 in the heart of the marina and adjacent to the new waterfront developments. Everett is the largest marina on the west coast and they are heavily investing in all the amenities a large waterfront offers. We will host a BBQ meat entree on the first night, you bring your beverages and side dishes. On the 2nd night we have reserved a private dining room at Scuttlebutts Brewery at 5:30 PM for a no-host group dinner. Morning coffee and baked goods can be savored at the South Fork Baking Company, just above our dock. Daytime excursions may include a lovely walk up to Grand Ave. Park or the Boxcar Park on the waterfront, a visit to Bluewater Organic Distillery for complimentary tastings, or a visit to one or more of the local brew pubs within walking distance. Others may enjoy a dinghy ride to the jetty on a nice day for beach combing.

This adventure is for newbies and oldies as we continue to explore some of the most popular destinations in the Canadian Gull Islands. Some of us will be sailing so the trip is designed to accommodate all cruising speeds.

July 19 - meet up in the San Juans - likely Shaw Island. Celebrate crossing the Juan de Fuca Straits. Row over to the smallest island park, Blind Island, or to the general store for ice cream. Get ready to go abroad!

July 20 - Poets Cove - clear customs and enjoy Poets Cove resort amenities including the pool and dining. Great hiking available.

July 21 & 22 - Here we can divide up. You can pick from Montague Harbor or Ganges Marine Park.
Choice 1: Montague Harbor Marine Provincial Park on Galiano Island. Mooring Buoys and good anchorages. Small marina with basic supplies. Beach combing, tide pools to explore.
Choice 2: Ganges Marine Park on Salt Spring Island. Visit art galleries or rent a paddleboard. Good restaurants including the Tree House Cafe (with a tree right in the middle!) and great entertainment.

July 23 & 24 - Telegraph Harbor located on Thetis Island. This is a well protected bay with room to beach comb, picnic and partake in wildlife viewing. The marina has a general store, coffee bar, laundromat, showers and fuel dock. You can also ferry across to Chemainus for the day, a picturesque artisan village on the Cowichan coast.

July 25 & 26 - Genoa Bay Marina, located on the east coast of southern Vancouver island. Enjoy breakfast on the dock and dining at the Genoa Bay Cafe overlooking the Marina. Your cruise captains will coordinate adventures in and around the Cowichan Coast.

July 27 return to the US for a layover at the historic Garrison Bay. Learn how a pig started a war between the US and Great Britain. Our fleet will enjoy a Potluck dinner as we celebrate our Gulf Island II sojourn.

July 28 - Head for home or points beyond. Consider linking up with the Anacortes Arts Cruise!

ANACORTES MARINA CAPACITY IS FULL. ANACORTES LAND CRUISERS ARE STILL WELCOME & SUCIA/ROSARIO CRUISING IS STILL AN OPTION.
Please join us for the Anacortes Cruise, August 1-5 at Cap Sante Marina.
We invite those who wish to attend but do not have a boat to make reservations at a local hotel or other accommodations, or for RVer’s there is a wonderful private RV park south of the marina, with RV sites or cabins and another private RV park near Washington Park.
The marina is a wonderful location to enjoy the Anacortes Arts Festival, an extensive and diverse art show featuring artists from all over the Northwest. We will make reservations at a local restaurant for a “no host” gathering for one evening and enjoy a potluck on the “party dock” for another.
From Anacortes, we plan to venture to Sucia Island Marine Park departing Anacortes on Monday, August 5 and staying at Sucia until August 7. There are two small docks at Fossil Bay (first come-first serve), with buoy or anchoring as an option as well as anchoring at Fossil Bay. We’ll have an evening of appetizers on the beach or the dock one night, and a dingy or kayak trip to see the sandstone formations. There will be time to hike around the island. We will also play some games as the sun sets, for those who are interested.
Finally, for those who would like to join us, the Co-Captains plan to visit Rosario Resort on Orcas Island. Anyone interested can join us.
