We had our 8th workshop for Boating Experiences on Saturday, September 21st in our clubhouse.
Captain El Duano Madinger gave a great talk on boating from the perspective of a skipper of very large ocean going boats, i.e. tankers, container ships, etc. We had sixteen folks show up (including one non-club member who happened to see the flyer on the clubhouse’s outside bulletin board). There were lots of audience questions and interactions as we all learned what it is like for these big ships as we cruise near them.
As always, El Duano provide insights, good ideas, and lots of humor in his comments. Stay tuned for our next Boating Experiences workshop tentatively scheduled for January 25th.
