The Change of Watch was such a wonderful thank you to the 2025 PTYC Board and a fabulous welcome to this Commodore and our new board! Past Commodore, Scott Abbey, Trustee Linda Abbey, and their team of dancers, podcasters and event planners certainly pulled out all the stops for the Change of Watch celebration! I certainly will remember the COW as one of my favorite memories! You all are awesome!
The first meeting at our new venue went well. Thank you again to Linda Abbey for finding an interesting and informative speaker, I don't know how many of you took the personality test; I am a tugboat. Let me know what your assigned ship is!
Of course, there are definitely processes at the NWMC which we need to refine (i.e. where will the key for the coffee pot cabinet reside?) but we are working through each " to do ' as they are identified. In general, the club could use some fresh faces running the watches. Please, please, please step up!

I first learned about the Great Loop at a yacht club talk many years ago and it has been a fascination since. The February speaker is a veteran of this trip and will certainly have some wonderful stories to share! I hope to see you there!
