May 1-2 Point Hudson Opening Day Cruise
The Opening Day Cruise will offer everyone connected with the PTYC a great way to kick off the 2026 boating season. Boat owners can enjoy all the activities by mooring at Point Hudson on Friday before cruising in front of downtown Port Townsend Saturday morning. If spending the night doesn’t fit your plans, then bring your boat over on Saturday morning for the downtown cruise.
This cruise is also a great opportunity for non-boat owners to check out some boats, chat with nautically minded people and enjoy some time out on the water. Plan on visiting Friday night for happy hour at the marina before the Past Commodores Dinner at the Maritime Center, then Saturday morning come by for coffee and muffins before jumping on a boat for a nice cruise in front of downtown Port Townsend!
The dates and times include an overnight stay on Friday May 1st at Point Hudson. Happy hour at the marina on Friday night an hour before the Past Commodores Dinner. Muffins and coffee on the docks between 9:00 and 10:00 Saturday morning, captains for the downtown cruise will meet at 10:30 and opening day downtime cruise will start at 11:00.
We encourage those staying at Point Hudson Marina to make their reservations soon! Marina reservations for this cruise will be made by each boater owner. To make a reservation simply Google “Point Hudson marina reservations” and follow the prompts.
