Home to the largest port on the west coast, the Port of Everett is an impressive facility with numerous moorage options.  Guest Dock 5 in the center of he basin will be home to the PTYC Cruise complete with it's own floating party barge and picnic tables and surrounded by an array of restaurant choices.. Explore Jetty Island by dinghy, just a short distance across the Snohomish River Channel or enjoy the sights and sounds of Boxcar Park where you will find colorful kites flying and miles of excellent walking trails.  For those interested in historic Everett waterfront homes, take the Grand Ave Bridge and stroll through the park while enjoying panoramic views of the vast marina and Naval facilities.

July 2-5
Reid Harbor Stuart Island

For more than 30 years, PTYC members have gathered over the 4th of July holiday to stay and play in beautiful Reid Harbor in the San Juan Islands. This is a "not-to-be-missed" event on the cruising calendar! Aside from the shared camaraderie on the floating dock or while enjoying the other peaceful mooring options, the highlight of the cruise is the annual 4th of July dinghy parade that weaves among the many boats in the bay.  Club members show their patriotic spirit by festively decorating their dinghys, kayaks and other watercraft.  Prizes are awarded, food is shared and a great time is had by all.  Other island activities include hiking to the modern one room schoolhouse where shirts, caps and cards can be purchased on the honor system or continuing on to the Turn Point Lighthouse where you might just get lucky to see Orcas!

Broughtons
Rosario Sing Along
Kayaking Pleasant Harbor

July 5 - August 17
Canada Connections - Flex

CANCELLED
Flex cruising is a unique way for club members to explore more distant destinations in a way that allows flexibility in between scheduled destinations. Key destinations will be identified as gathering points along the way with time in between group stops for boaters to explore their individual interests. This cruise is planned as a six week cruise with the primary goal of reaching the British Columbia Broughton's Archipelago in reasonably swift time (7-8 days), enjoy about 12 days cruising throughout the Broughtons, and then slowly returning to Puget Sound while enjoying several prime stops in Desolation Sound and the Gulf Islands. The Captains will share knowledge regarding each of the "tricky passages" and other helpful planning considerations (weather) for enjoying this trip. Experience with anchoring is a must for this cruise as well as your sense of adventure!

July 29 - August 4
Anacortes, Bellingham & Point Roberts

Have you ever wanted to explore the far reaches of the Salish Sea coast line? This cruise will start in Anacortes, then head up to Bellingham for 2 nights, and then on to the furthest northern WA port at Point Roberts. Point Roberts lies just south of the city of Vancouver BC and is a community not physically connected to the continental U.S. (also known as an "exclave").  it can be accessed only by boat, plane, or by driving 25 miles through Canada. From Point Roberts, cruisers will head due south to anchor and explore the beautiful island of Sucia in the San Juans. The final rewarding stop will be at Rosario Resort Marina for 2 nights where good food, a pool and many island activities await you.

August 25 - 28
Pleasant Harbor

One of our most popular cruises is the relatively easy trip south on Puget Sound's natural fjord known as Hood Canal. Pleasant Harbor is a deep water protected harbor with a first class marina resort. Amenities include a family pool, hot tub, Galley and Pub, rental kayaks and SUP's. The Resort offers transportation to explore local hiking trails with waterfalls and to Brinnon's famous Whitney Gardens. Club activities typically include happy hour on the dock, a poolside BBQ dinner, fun on-the-water dinghy races or other such organized shenanigans. Kayaking and beach combing by dinghy are also popular activities.

Alderbrook
Poulsbo Waterfront

August 28-30
Alderbrook Extension

For those attending the Pleasant Harbor Cruise, an optional destination may be added to visit Alderbrook Resort & Spa, 26 nautical miles south down Hood Canal. Alderbrook is a spectacular historical site with a marina, grand lodge and rental cabins ashore.  The grounds are lovingly manicured with outdoor public seating and fire pits. The Lodge offers both casual dining and formal dining options featuring NW local cuisine. For those seeking pampering, spa services are available as well as a lovely pool on the waterfront.  Explore Alderbrook's trails which lead into old growth forests, kayak or rent paddle boats to explore the bay and watch as eagles soar. Or, simply relax at your boat in the marina and enjoy the vistas in this beautiful setting!

September 23-26
Poulsbo

Kicking off the fall cruising schedule is our club's "Poulsbo Hop-a-loosa".  Join in the fun as the club cruisers enjoy a "hoppy" time sampling the
beer offerings in this quaint Scandinavian themed town, nicknamed "Little Norway".  Visit Sluys Bakery for it's renowned baked goods (donuts!!), stroll through the shops or take a walk along the boardwalk bordering the bay and estuary.  There is something for everyone in this cute little town!
