Welcome 2025!

Hello all, Usually at this time, I would be commenting on how it is time to get back to business, now that the holidays are over. But I must tell you how wonderful the Change of Watch (COW) was, and thank Eileen for such a nice event. I am usually happy to stay in the background—back seat driving—but this event brought a smile to my face. To Eileen, Jane, Houlton, Linda, Rhonda, and any one else I do not know about, THANK YOU!

Now let’s get back to business. The Boating Experiences Workshop on Saturday, January 25 had record attendance, as other clubs were invited. Dan Newland was very informative, which led to interesting questions.

Coming up in February, we have our meeting speaker with fellow member, Bradley Brooks, who is sharing his knowledge from repowering his boat to lithium batteries! Not your typical DIY project!

Eileen Baratuci and Debbie Williams are hosting a casual afternoon gathering with Bingo at our local Marrowstone Vineyards on the 21st. As you can see on the Website Calendar and in the Baggywrinkle Newsletter, our activities pick up the pace in March and just keep getting better. Stay tuned!

Cheers,
Commodore Scott
