2025 Past Commodore DinnerPTYC Past Commodores

Our Opening Day in Port Ludlow was a delightful event where cruisers and landlubbers joined together for a festive weekend. Port Ludlow now has a large tent pavilion where our Past Commodore dinner was held. Libations & happy hour was at the Wreck Room and hosted by the Port Ludlow Yacht Club.

Past Commodores were honored at the dinner event. Jim Gorski read the Blessing of the Fleet courtesy of Rev. Bruce Bode at the 2024 dinner. Jane Asbury challenged the room with a quiz pitting diners against one another to match past commodores with a list of personal trivia -- which past commodore dangled their feet over a surf board to bait sharks or ...  who took a ferry to Port Townsend to play peewee football at age of 9.

Dinner was an excellent affair catered by Mo-Chili BBQ featuring smoked brisket and chicken with all the regular sides. Breakfast was Linda Abbey's amazing pancakes and sausage. And then.... it was all over and time to go home.

Special thank go out to event coordinators --  Eileen Baratuci, Jane Asbury, and Linda Abbey. Kudos for additional support from Scott Abbey, Bill Baratuci, Houlton & Duane Madinger, Rhonda Turner & Susie and Jim Gorski.
