Oliver & Morris Room at the Northwest Maritime Center
Our April meeting is devoted to hearing from our 2026 scholarship recipients. What course of study are they pursuing and why; how they were motivated to work/study in the marine trades or sciences, etc. This is always an inspiring feel-good meeting to see how our collective fundraising is put to good use!
The program is preceded by a social time and followed by a business meeting.

Our annual free Safety Day workshops will feature "Suddenly in Command" presented by Bradley Brooks of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary, a sack lunch ($15) and an afternoon session on safely "Crossing the Straits" of Juan de Fuca, presented by Captain Roger Slade, owner/operator of TowBoatUS on the northern Olympic Peninsula.
Join us at the NWMC for a fun Chowder Potluck following our Safety & Training Day programs. We seek to have 10 different chowders to sample. You will be invited to provide a chowder, appetizer, salad, or dessert. Please indicate what you plan to bring upon registration.
