Dale Moses and Michael Asbury will take turns presenting “My Boating Goofs and How I Recovered (Mostly)”. Lots of real world things we have done or failed to do and how, or if, we have learned from them! Michael will also be sharing some good stuff he picked up from the Wooden Boat School on corrosion and prevention (another area where it is easy to goof!). No reservations needed and everyone - members and nonmembers - are invited. See you there.

As a part of our February 24th Scholarship FunRaiser, we will be selling tickets at $25 pp to attend an evening at the Key City Theater featuring Sea Captain and former Commodore, Duane Madinger. As we all know, "El Duano" is a great story teller and he will regale us with many of his best sea stories from his 30+ years captaining large ships and tankers. Prepare yourself for a fun evening of entertainment, not necessarily G-rated, and perhaps learn a thing or two along this epic journey. The KCPT Venue is sponsored by Galmukoff Marine and free Dessert is hosted by Cold Mountain Baking. A cash bar will be operated by KCPT.

This year our annual "Open Boat" event will be held at Port Hadlock Marina, home port to 20 of our PTYC member boats. From 1-4 PM, members who wish to participate will welcome fellow PTYC members aboard to share their vessel‘s history, along with some hosted wine and other goodies.

It‘s a wonderful way to get to know our members and put faces with boats/names, as well as to see the infinite ways we all live while on the water. This event is open to the public, so encourage your nonmember friends to come along.

Due to marina availability, only boats already moored in Port Hadlock can be included.
